Thank You!

The Christmas on Lakeshore fundraiser resulted in total donations of $10,775 for the families who received Christmas packages through Kerr Street Ministries. As a result of the incredible response from Knox Church families, there were no families in need left on the "waiting list" this year. This important ministry was headed up my Ann Millard and supported by the ladies of Moms 'n More.

Programs for Children and Youth at Knox

Knox provides programs for children and youth at both services, in age appropriate groupings: Ages 3-5, 6-10, 11-13 and Grade 9 and up. It's a great way for children to learn and meet new friends at Knox.

Help Create Beautiful Quilts For African Orphans: Every week on Monday morning from 10 am until 2 pm, an old-fashioned quilting bee takes place at Clearview Church on Ford Drive, just north of Royal Windsor. Quilters meet to sew colourful quilts for AIDS orphans in Kisarani, Kenya, for a project run by Sue and Andrew Faber, missionaries with Africa Inland Mission's Rift Valley Academy in Kenya who have received support from Moms 'N More and the Memorial Trust.

If sewing is not your cup of tea, you can help by donating sheets to become quilt squares. Search your closets for linens you no longer need - they do not have to be in mint condition. To make a donation of sheets, please contact Laura Sharp at 905-842-6153.
